Absolutely enjoyed my time here! The 15 course Omakase was excellently done and each piece was tasty and well thought out. I also ordered the oyster appetizer and was surprised it included my favorite Kumamoto oyster. Definitely saved as a favorite of mine for future visits. I am coming back again today with some friends.

Nana San - một trong những quán sushi & sashimi được yêu thích nhất OC. Nơi đây không khí gia đình được đề cao với nhiều loại sashimi tươi và cả những loài cá mình chưa từng nghe tên. Năm nào cũng được chị Thanh Thảo và anh Tom đãi ăn ngập mặt và say sưa, đây cũng là nơi 2 người gặp gỡ và nên duyên, đích thị nó là quán nhân chứng nhiều kỉ niệm

Good sushi place in Newport. We try to make reservations but they said it’s all booked up but we can try line up. We got here at 8:30 and the table was available. We love the live sweet shrimp. The head made into miso soup was better than frying it. The server was nice but they seem a bit busy. We had flan and the vanilla one is better than the green tea flan.

One of the best sushi spots in OC if not in all of So Cal. A very low key sushi joint serving high quality cuts of some of the freshest fish available. My favorite high-end spot for sushi whenever I’m in the mood for it. Can’t remember all of the cuts I’ve had here, but you can never go wrong with the otoro, uni(Santa Bárbara), live amaebi, Japanese red snapper, sea scallops…etc. Everyone else can have Nobu…I’m happy with Nana San.

My new go-to place to get fresh sushi at reasonable price, especially when short on time at work. I ordered combo L with assorted sushi with spicy tuna roll. Every item pictured in the bento box tasted fresh and just the right portion. I will be a return customer! Husband and I went to eat sushi at their sushi bar today. Every sashimi we ordered was very fresh!

Nana San sushi bar is one of the best sushi places I have ever visited. It's a small restaurant with max occupancy to41 people at a time. The inside of the restaurant is modern and trendy with live chef counter and bar on on side. Place is very well maintained and clean and staff is very friendly. I have never tried so many different style of sushi before and I loved all the different sushi chef prepared for us. This place is a hidden gem and if you love sushi thus is a place you can't miss

After trying 10+ sushi places in OC, this is the best sushi in this area. The seabass sashimi is world class. All of the nigiris we tried (bluefin, toro, seabass, hotate, salmon) had small touches that added great flavor. We finally found our place!

Family-style sushi place, an absolute must-visit for simple, delicious omakase. Everything about this place was amazing. The food and service, are top-notch! I would recommend calling ahead before you come and asking if they have space at the sushi bar. It was a steal for omakase, especially for the quality of the fish. It reminds me of more classic omakase where the chef just makes different pieces until you are full. You are also able to request specific fish to try or have your favorites again. In my experience, they'll usually serve you 12 pieces and then allow you to request more if you'd like. I will be recommending this spot as it is great value omakase!
